Curtain Care

Although our custom curtains are highly durable and resistant to stains, mold, and mildew, even the most durable fabrics still get dirty! Please refer to the following care instructions to keep your curtains looking as good as new.

**Our curtains should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. This can lead to tears or rips in the fabric.

For wrinkles:

Hang your curtains as soon as you receive them. This will allow the fabric to naturally fall and smooth out over time. If wrinkles persist, use a steamer.

For spot cleaning:

1. Apply a light mist of mild soap and water using a spray bottle.
2. Work the solution into the stain by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or soft cloth.
3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
4. Air dry.
5. Repeat these steps until stain is removed.

For hand washing:

1. Pre-treat any heavily stained areas with an appropriate stain remover (We recommend either 303 Fabric Cleaner or Oxyclean).
2. Hand wash in cold water for best results.
3. Air dry.

For Stubborn Stains and/or Mildew:

1. Mix a 1 part bleach, 4 parts water solution (for Sunbrella)
2. Apply directly to the stain
3. Allow to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing
4. Rinse thoroughly
5. Air dry
