All three brands share a lot of fantastic similarities including weather and abrasion resistance, composition makeup, and durability, however there are a few key differences between the three.
Firstly Sunbrella®, Tempotest®, and WeatherSmart® all have slight texture differences. Sunbrella and Tempotest have softer, more varied feel to their material and are extremely resistant to moisture, while WeatherSmart is focused primarily on fade and mildew resistance.
Also, Tempotest® and WeatherSmart both feature extra wide curtains for people with larger spaces. Tempotest has 116” Extra wide curtains while Tempotest has 100” extra wide curtains. Sunbrella is limited to 50” wide panels only.
Yes we do! We have a Custom Curtains page where you can put the length needed for your outdoor panels. We can make panels as long or as short as you need to the nearest whole inch.
We do not offer weights sewn into the panel, this is due to the amount of weight needed to stabilize the curtain panel in the wind. Too much weight could cause damage to the curtain panel. We do offer external weights, known as anchor weights, which attach to the bottom of the curtain panel via small grommets located on the bottom corners of the panel.
Unfortunately we do not offer matching top and bottom hem, however we do offer stabilizing grommets which are small half-inch grommets located on the bottom corners (and in the middle on Extra wide panels).
Anchor weights are 3-4lb weighted bags wrapped in matching fabrics of your choice designed to help weigh the curtain down in windy conditions. They come standard with a long 18 inch cord attachment and can be tied onto the curtain stabilizing grommets located at the bottom corners of the panel. **Note: Sheer and Semi-Sheer fabric do not come with matching weights as the fabric is too light weight.
We recommend a curtain rod diameter of 1.25 inches to fit through our grommets. You can use anything 1.25 inches or less but nothing exceeding this amount.
Our curtain grommets are 1.5 inches in diameter (inner diameter).
We currently only ship to the US and Canada at this time.
Lead times can vary by fabric. All curtains have a lead time set under the item number.
Yes, as long as the order has not been shipped out, you can call customer service to make any changes.
All curtain panels are sold individually.
Unfortunately, no, we do not sell blackout curtains.
Yes, any designer that provides proper documentation is eligible for a discount.
Length- The grommets are installed 1.5” below the top hem of the curtain, so the length will be affected by 1.5”. For example, if you purchase a 96” long panel with a grommet top your panel will hang at 94.5”.
Width- Because the panel will not hang flat across with a grommet style top, you do not get the full 50”, 100”, or 116” width from the panel. A 50” wide panel will measure approximately 44”, a 100” wide panel will measure approximately 88”, and a 116” wide panel will measure approximately 104”. **Note: Depending on how you install your panels, this number could change.**
Custom curtain orders are not eligible for return or exchange. All sales are final.
